Our multinational client is currently recruiting for a Clinical Application Specialist to join their ever-growing team in Dubai, UAE.
Responsibilities
- Achieving the planned sales targets and KPIs in the assigned territory delivering market share growth.
- Spend 80% of the working time in field activities, executing different hands-on training for end user & distributor teams.
- Build and develop long-term professional relationships with key decision-makers and committees within the assigned territory and buying organizations for the Hospital.
- Provide clinical support for the end users until they are confident to manage independently, and handle questions & inquiries related to the patient’s key outcome (in coordination with the distributor teams).
- Monitor and align distributors’ clinical activities performance with clients’ strategies, policies, and standards.
- Plan and conduct Educational activities per the customer’s needs and market requirements to increase product penetration.
- Analyze account attractiveness and develop the plan, including sales, market share, and required resources.
- Propose and provide each customer with appropriate solutions that will maximize opportunities both for the customer and our client.
- Communicate all relevant information to existing and potential customers to guarantee their awareness of our client’s product portfolio and its benefits.
- Gather and share all possible information on market intelligence and competitor activities with other sales reps and line management to help anticipate competitive moves.
- Deal with customer complaints & implement corrective actions.
- Continuously assess the market for new customers/opportunities/risks for our client’s products.
- Finalize budgets and forecasts in cooperation with line management/Marketing.
- Utilizing Boost (CRM software) to submit a detailed weekly plan and report.
- Present our client’s products & their advantages, and organize & distribute all needed promotional material.
- Participate in congresses and other customer events.
- Identify tender renewal and respond to tenders with the support of the line manager / Marketing (where applicable).
- Closely follow up on customer stock status and coordinate with the supply chain to ensure continuous and uninterrupted supplies.
- Traveling above 50% across the Gulf region.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree required. Scientific or medical / Nurse, paramedical degree – strong scientific background.
- Preferably to have experience in the Operation Theatre setting.
- Minimum 1-2 years of Clinical Sales experience within the Healthcare Industry / Hospital environment / medical sales.
- Fluent in English and Arabic, both spoken and written.
