The Sales Head of North Africa is responsible for driving the growth and development of business in Algeria, Morocco, and Tunisia. This role focuses on the strategic direction of sales and marketing teams, both directly and through distributors while ensuring strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders. The incumbent will manage the expansion of the existing medical devices business, and the implementation of a new business model across the three countries. This role carries full accountability for the region’s sales, profitability, and SG&A (Selling, General, and Administrative) expenses. The Sales Head will lead the organization to achieve short- and long-term P&L objectives, foster operational efficiency, and ensure compliance with regulatory and ethical standards.

Sales Head – Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute growth strategies to drive market share and profitability for the business.
- Define and implement tailored strategies for Algeria, Morocco, and Tunisia to meet short- and long-term financial and operational goals.
- Translate regional objectives into actionable plans, including sales, marketing, and market development strategies.
- Lead efforts to grow the assigned portfolio across ICUs in Algeria, Morocco, and Tunisia.
- Engage with critical care stakeholders to enhance product adoption and ensure market access.
- Expand the business by increasing patient penetration and improving therapy accessibility in all three countries.

- Represent the company in discussions with regulatory bodies, industry organizations, and key customers.
- Oversee distributor relationships, including contract negotiation, performance tracking, and renewal.
- Align distributor operations with strategic goals to maximize performance.
- Monitor sales forecasts, financial performance, and SG&A budgets to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Drive market penetration in Algeria, Morocco, and Tunisia by engaging with healthcare centers.
- Roll out a new business model tailored to the market needs of North Africa, focusing on innovation and efficiency.
- Manage and optimize distributor transitions, ensuring seamless alignment with company goals.
- Develop and execute country-specific plans to address local healthcare dynamics and maximize the impact of the company’s portfolio.
- Streamline operational processes, such as pricing approvals and contract renewals, to enhance efficiency and transparency.
Sales Head – Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Medical Sciences, or a related field. MBA preferred.
- 10+ years in sales and marketing, with significant experience in healthcare or pharmaceuticals, including leadership roles.
- Proven track record in managing medical devices o pharmaceutical business.
- Deep understanding of the healthcare market in North Africa.
- Fluency in English, French, and Arabic is essential.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the region
- Ability to align regional strategies with organizational goals and deliver results.
- Proven success in driving growth.
- Expertise in managing distributors and building relationships with key healthcare stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of P&L management, cost control, and ROI optimization.
