Product Specialist will be responsible for achieving sales targets and implementing sales strategies in order to attain sales volume, customer growth, and customer satisfaction for the assigned therapies and / or medical products within the geographical area.

Responsibilities
- Achieve revenue, sales, profit, qualitative objectives, and targets for the assigned therapies and/or medical products within own geographical or business area
- Manage day-to-day relationships with assigned customers
- Build and develop professional long-term customer relationships
- Prepare, implement, and review targeted account plans aligned with the commercial policies
- Plan and prepare for each customer visit and record outcomes
- Ensure minimum daily calls are met and reports are submitted on a timely basis.
- Propose and provide each customer with appropriate solutions that will maximize opportunities both for the customer and for the company
- Communicate all relevant information to existing and potential customers to guarantee their awareness of the product portfolio and its benefits
- Acquire new customers
- Capture and maintain all relevant sales and customer data and update them regularly
- Gather and share with other sales reps and with line management all possible information on market intelligence and competitor activities to help anticipate competitive moves
- Maintain presence in all existing & target customers
- Deal with customer complaints & implement corrective actions as per the guidelines
- Continuously assess the market for new customers/opportunities/risks for the company’s products
- Finalize budgets and forecasts in cooperation with line management/marketing
- Present products & their advantages, organize & distribute all needed promotional material, and organize test usage where needed
- Participate in congresses and other customer events
- Provide customer training and support/assistance where needed
- Works closely with Clinical/ Marketing team and is interested in continuously updating product knowledge
- Identify tender renewal and respond to tenders with the support of line manager / Marketing (where applicable)
- Closely follow up on stock status with customers and coordinate with the supply chain to ensure continuous and uninterrupted supplies
- To complete on time the mandatory training as required by Global Teams
- To demonstrate team spirit and professional interaction with other Functions and Teams
- Liaison with the distributors and their teams for business growth and development
- Follow up with finance departments to ensure payments and achieve targeted DSOs
- Organise group/in-service meetings and ability to make presentations on products/therapies
- Coordinate with the team to achieve patient budget
- Responsible for the prompt maintenance and follow-up of placed equipment database
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required. Scientific or medical/paramedical degree – strong scientific background
- 5 years of Sales experience within the Healthcare Industry / Hospital environment / medical sales
- English and Arabic proficiency
- Ability to apply scientific/clinical knowledge to support the customer
- Ability to combine a commercial and an intellectual relationship with the customer
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Perseverance & self-driven
- Negotiation skills
