Our multinational client is actively looking for a well-organized and communicative VMI Coordinator to join their growing team in Tunisia.

Following this mission, the VMI Coordinator will play a key role in developing strong customer relationships, project management, and reporting to ensure customer satisfaction.

The VMI Coordinator will be responsible for collaboratively working with customer & business partners, Commercial and Supply Chain organizations with a focus on improving customer forecast accuracy and achieving customer service level and inventory goals. This customer-facing role drives Supply Chain activities and helps meet customer inventory targets and overall sales goals. This role will benefit our customers by minimizing their excess inventory. This role requires tight business relationships and strong communication between internal and external stakeholders.

The VMI Coordinator will work closely with the Distribution Manager for Middle-East & Africa and the Heads of the Supply Chain for Middle-East and Africa to ensure efficient communication, prompt action, and clear reports and deliverables.

Responsibilities

Vendor-Managed Inventory

  • Build and maintain customer and internal stakeholder relationships that drive supply chain efficiency and business influence.
  • Manage key business relationships with passion & understanding of customer expectations and internal policies/requirements.
  • Lead projects/initiatives to enhance cost and service efficiencies in the customer and supply chains.
  • Led the development of presentations and discussions for customer-facing meetings.
  • Must effectively influence team members to gain support for replenishment and inventory management policies that maximize product availability at the distributor level while minimizing inventory within the supply chain.
  • Develop and implement ongoing improvements for collaborative planning, forecast, and replenishment (to-market) processes.
  • Must possess strong analytical skills and the ability to articulate the analysis in a manner understood cross-functionally to effect change.
  • Bi-Weekly category meetings with Sales and Commercial partners.
  • Monthly collaboration with Customer, commercial, and supply chain stakeholders.
  • Communication of over-stock situations timely to prevent unsaleable products.
  • Develops analysis and scorecards to communicate with customers and key cross-functional teams to improve overall supply chain effectiveness.
  • Provides quantitative and qualitative feedback regarding In-Market activity to improve overall forecast accuracy.

Reporting & Analysis

  • Monitor and communicate key Supply Chain KPIs.
  • Develop and maintain Supply Chain databases (product item master, country mapping, etc.)
  • Support with the regional supply chain reporting (Order Book, Outlook, OTIF, etc.)
  • Support the regional Supply Chain team with continuous process improvements and other initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills

  • B.A. or B.S. degree in business, logistics, or another technical discipline.
  • APICS certification or similar is an advantage.
  • 1-3 years of Supply Chain experience is an advantage.
  • Pharma, Medical Device company or related experience is an advantage.
  • Embodies the company’s values.

  • Experience in managing customer inventory and key service metrics is a plus
  • Advanced Excel, Access, Powerpoint.
  • ERP knowledge, such as JDE, is an advantage.
