Business Development Manager – Job Responsibilities:
Sales & Revenue Growth:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
- Analyze sales data to identify growth opportunities and areas for improvement.
- Drive sales initiatives across all Emirates and channels, ensuring a hybrid sales approach
Team Leadership & Development:
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a talented sales team, fostering a positive and collaborative culture.
- Evaluate team performance, provide coaching, and support professional development.
- Ensure the sales team operates efficiently, meeting KPIs and exceeding expectations.
Customer & Supplier Relationships:
- Build and nurture relationships with key customers, suppliers, and distributors.
- Collaborate with key account buyers to develop and execute strategic plans in collaboration with the Trade team.
- Ensure alignment of sales strategies with brand initiatives in collaboration with the marketing team.
Budget & Financial Management:
- Oversee budgetary planning, profit & loss (P&L) management, and expense control.
- Provide accurate monthly sales forecasts and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure expenses are within budget while achieving financial targets.
Channel & Territory Management:
- Lead the transition to a hybrid sales model based on territory rather than modality.
- Interface with key accounts, chain pharmacies, and healthcare professionals to maximize opportunities.
- Conduct regular business reviews and develop productive, profitable account plans.
Strategic Planning & Process Enhancement
- Develop and implement annual business plans aligned with company’s strategic objectives.
- Collaborate with marketing to ensure alignment of sales activities with brand and trade marketing initiatives.
- Continuously improve commercial processes, ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations.
- Ensure accurate forecasting and inventory management.

- Effective management of budgets and cost optimization.
Business Development Manager – Skills & Qualifications:
- A degree in pharmacy, medicine, or a related field is a must
- Completion of business, commercial or marketing qualification is preferred
- Experience as a manager of more than 5 years
- Experience in the UAE market of a minimum of 3 years is desired
- Experience in building brand equity, and creating marketing campaigns that deliver growth. Strong project and stakeholder management
- Skincare category experience is desirable
- Direct line management experience is essential with a minimum of 5 years of proven people management experience is a must.
- An MBA is a plus.
- Fluency in English & Arabic is a must
- Traveling 10% of the role
