The Business Support Specialist provides operational support to the sales and management teams. This includes planning and coordinating projects to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the salesforce, developing processes and procedures to facilitate the sales process, and actively participating in developing requirements for sales support systems. Additionally, the role requires maintaining information on sales activities to support sales performance metrics and improve the sales process. The role reports directly to the Commercial Execution Head of the business.

Business Support Specialist – Job Responsibilities:
Grants management :
- Business Support Specialist cover all the grants admin work e.g. Support Commercial Team for document preparation and documentation review.
- Get quotations & negotiate deals with vendors, enter details, and upload required documents to PEGA.
- Upload signed documents and obtain approval to PEGA, follow up the payments & JDE interface to PEGA, Review Closing documents obtained from Sales teams and finance to submit for closure.
- Uploads final documents in Stage 3 to PEGA, Submits the request to close the Grant, regularly monitor grants & their process, and submit monthly reports covering the done grants and next month’s planned ones.
- Events’ Cost control.
- Manage the flow of the Grant.
- Following up with the commercial team who owns the process.
Business commercial support:
- Business Support Specialist support and work together with a local finance team and review team working in account reconciliation for distributors and customers.
- Invoices: prepare description sheet and invoice logs (keeping records with detailed information of received invoices and collection of proper approval for all invoices, define cost center, sending them to accountancy service)
- Support and close collaboration as per requirements to/with sales, commercial, marketing, quality, regulatory functions, key people, and distributors/wholesalers in the region (as per need);
- To create, supervise, update, and report on activities ranging from future events, action logs, annual leave, and sales activities for the commercial and marketing teams.
- Help in managing boost rollout and drive implementation in the MEA region.
Business Support Specialist – Job Requirements:
- Fluency in English and Arabic
- Bachelor’s degree preferred – in the field of Business Administration or similar
- Min 3 years experience in Marketing/Sales/Administration in a healthcare company
