Responsible for the business results of the assigned accounts, the Key Account Specialist builds relationships with key decision-makers in the Clinical Nutrition Unit. Candidate should develop and maintain productive relationships with key administrative and decisional stakeholders to influence decisional processes to facilitate the Clinical Nutrition business. The candidate contributes to harmonizing and targeting sales efforts across the Hospital Business to maximize all market opportunities and negotiates contracts with buying organizations.
Key Account Specialist – Job Responsibilities:
- Achieving the sales targets in the assigned territory delivering market share growth.
- Spend 80% of the working time in field activities with a total visit 35 per week with different therapeutic areas of Critical ill dept and wards for Adult, Pediatric, and Neonatal Populations.
- Accountable for timely and accurate forecasting of sales orders and marketing activities
- Negotiate and prepare bids and tenders for the hospital (assigned Key Accounts and /or sales area)
- Acquire new customers within assigned territory and establish strong relationships with key decision makers and committees within the sales area and buying organizations for the Hospital.
- Conduct a minimum of 2 Indoor or outdoor interaction sessions per month with Adult and neonatal /Pediatric ICU/Clinical Pharmacy / Oncology, Surgery, and Nutritionists.
- Analyze account attractiveness and develop the account plan including sales, market share, and required resources.
- Flexibility to attend certain events and activities throughout the year during weekends and after working hours based on the business need and to be compensated in addition to the leave days.
- Willing to travel locally and internationally up to 40% of the time within Remote areas based on business needs and allocation
- Closely monitor and report competitive activities at the sales area level.
Key Account Specialist – Job Requirements:
- KSA Nationality is a must
- Fluency in English and Arabic
- Bachelor’s degree required; Masters degree preferred (Life Science, Nursing, Commercial, Medical, …)
- 1 -2 years of experience in the medical field or a fresh graduate
- Computer skills ( Word-Excel-Power Point )
- Planning skills
