You will oversee an assigned product portfolio’s top-line and bottom-line performance in this role. Responsibilities

The Regional Sales Manager will hold the following responsibilities:

  • Being responsible for Top line sales and bottom line for assigned product portfolio.
  • Developing Go-to-Market activity for the entire portfolio as per agreed KPIs and budget from top management.
  • Implementing sales strategies and action plans to reach monthly sales targets in the assigned area.
  • Taking Channel Management & Development responsibility. Exploration of new channels of business.
  • Conducting and monitoring Sellouts, maintaining PSI, and Preparing sellout activities for assigned customers.
  • Analyzing market and country conditions and product needs and providing feedback for relevant markets.
  • Creating market visit reports, price maps, and benchmarking.
  • Following up on the price of the goods and ensuring coordination between the customer and the finance department.
  • Following developments in the market and giving feedback.
  • Provide feedback to product teams for new market developments.
  • Following up and close coordination with the Supply Chain Team. Knowledge of Incoterms, etc. Follow up on the orders and shipments.
  • Mitigating the risk of current clients and taking relevant measures when necessary.
  • Determining short and long-term (1 year to 5 years) sales plans align with the company’s vision and mission.
  • Collecting sales forecasts on time by considering product groups’ hot seasons, upcoming important events & dates, and other relevant indicators.
  • Effective management and implementation of CO-OP budget.
  • Meeting Timelines for Monthly and quarterly reports.
  • Managing existing distributors & channels and having the updated know-how of competitors and candidates in the responsibility area.
  • Holding regular meetings with Distributors and Retailers.
  • Regularly communicating with the distributor’s sales team to monitor sell–out and sell-through trends and execute necessary actions to optimize.

Qualifications

The perfect candidate for the Regional Sales Manager role should meet the following conditions:

  • Master’s/bachelor’s degree in business administration, Economics, Business Engineering, or Industrial Engineering (master’s degree is a plus).
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Previous Experience and in-depth knowledge of MDA (Major domestic appliances).
  • Excellent verbal and written skills in English.
  • No restrictions for traveling and staying for a long/short time abroad.
  • Previous experience managing distributors / Retailers across any of the GCC countries. Preferably MNC experience.
  • Direct Retail Management experience and working with Key accounts is an added advantage.
  • Following and adopting the market trends and new technologies.
  • Outside-the-box thinking ability.

  • Advanced Excel & PowerPoint skills.
