Responsibilities
- The Tender Lead will manage tender tools, including implementing an authority matrix, collaborating with consultants for system upgrades, and developing tender analytics dashboards.
- Monitoring and reporting on tender successes and losses as part of regional performance assessments.
- The Tender Lead will establish a proactive tender planning and prioritization system across various regions and contribute to the annual planning process.
- Examining strategies for emphasizing non-price criteria in tender assessments and collaborating with LOCs to integrate these factors into future frameworks.
- Facilitating the exchange of best practices among different markets.
- Acting as coordinating leader to the Tender Champions Network, including running bi-monthly update meetings.
- Ensuring all stakeholders’ adherence to the tender process and holding responsibility for enhancing the process.
- Assessing market dynamics, engaging with internal and external thought leaders to identify unaddressed requirements in tender processes, and converting insights into tender strategies to fulfill cluster/country objectives in the short and long term.
- The Tender Lead will engage in ad hoc tasks from the tender function.
Qualifications
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Economics, or equivalent.
- 5 years of experience in Pharmaceuticals or FMCG (previous experience in Tender excellence preferred).
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
