We are currently supporting our client, a multinational medical devices company in the recruitment process for the Regional Head of Finance. The role is responsible for strategic financial support to the MENA cluster. The job holder is the owner of financial and business results and partners directly with the Regional Manager.

Responsibilities
- Provide financial and business support to the region: lead, organize, and resource the company’s financial activities.
- Assess business models and support commercial teams with transformation initiatives (leading all financial aspects of negotiations, integrations, contract strategy, etc.).
- Financially responsible for the monthly business review, annual operating plan, quarterly forecast, and long-range plan.
- Support credit and collections team with onsite customer visits, specifically for customers with credit issues.
- Interact with accounting on questions and support the A2R process within the region.
- Partner on all key regional projects such as liquidations, mergers, reorganizations, commercial projects, etc.
- Proactively monitor business results and advise management on business and financial decisions/issues, identify corrective actions/solutions.
- Translate the corporate strategy and aspirations to local targets.
- Take part in local and regional development projects.
- Assess performance and identify, retain, and develop key talent for the organization.
- Ensure implementation and adherence to corporate policies.
- Assist management team in identifying and implementing cost-reduction projects.
Qualifications
- Degree in Accounting or Finance discipline required.
- CPA and/or MBA preferred.
- Minimum ten years of financial experience, with international exposure.
- English as a business language, Arabic would be an advantage.
- Solid presentation skills.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, recognized leadership.
- Strong analytical skills and decision-making capabilities
- Excellent Computer Skills (Microsoft Office Products, SAP, Navision)
