FP&A Manager: Financial Planning and Analysis will lead financial planning and analysis activities by partnering with regional and country leadership, driving financial performance through budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial reviews. The FP&A Manager will support decision-making by delivering insightful analysis, guiding resource allocation, and ensuring compliance with financial processes and controls. This role involves collaborating across functions to optimize financial outcomes, implement process improvements, and mentor FP&A teams to achieve strategic objectives while maintaining high standards in financial reporting, performance monitoring, and compliance.

FP&A Manager – Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Act as primary business partner to the Country Director and country Controller for all Financial Planning and Analysis activities within the Region: Advise the Regional Director and Regional Controller teams in setting appropriately challenging objectives for Regional/Country performance; Accompany the Regional Director and Regional Controller to all Country Business Reviews and Plan Reviews to provide key financial support, Participate in the Regional Quarterly Business Review; Co-ordinate the annual budgeting& quarterly planning process; Regional Director and Regional Controller and Divisional FP&A teams in resource allocation decisions to optimize the Country’s performance; Setting appropriate financial targets; Linking strategies and tactics to financial objectives.
- Responsible for leading compliance with quarterly budgeting calendar& guidelines, monthly& quarterly business reviews, and quarterly plan reviews: Monitor and measure business performance to ensure maximization of opportunities to meet or exceed targets; Provide guidance/advice to ensure performance targets are achieved.
- Assist Divisional FP&A in the execution of region-wide or Corporate-wide FP&A-related initiatives. Represent the Region in various regional and Corporate task forces, as required: Required to be the Lead instructor on all Financial System training.
- Support/ provide input to the country and Regional Controller with regard to the development requirements of the Country’s FP&A resources. Provide functional leadership and mentoring to the FP& A resources across the country.
- Establish, maintain, and/or leverage as appropriate information systems to support the FP&A process. Recommend and implement techniques to improve productivity and analysis, increase efficiencies, manage costs, and maintain state-of-the-art practices.
- Provides input to the Quality committee on finance-specific local issues, with the purpose of either finding a solution from other countries’ experiences or providing advice on potential barriers for other countries and local regulations. Drives compliance in all finance-related matters(CA&C, SOX, Statutory, monthly Closing). Participates in implementing Quality requirements in all aspects of the Finance Process.
- Participates in driving quality awareness in every employee, while guiding the local organization towards improved performance and customer-oriented initiatives.
- Co-ensures that employees are notified of all mandatory training and quality obligations with HR Managers. Tracks completion of mandatory training.
FP&A Manager – Job Requirements:
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in Corporate Finance, FP&A, and Commercial / Business Finance roles, out of which a minimum of 5 years at the managerial level.
- Business or Management degree, plus accounting designation (MBA is a plus).
- In-depth knowledge of financial planning, performance monitoring, and process automation required.
- Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills are required.
- Well organized, reliable, and a very good collaborator at all levels.
- Able to simplify, standardize, and provide “to the point” advice to stakeholders.
- Guru of Excel, PowerPoint, Reporting & Planning software, ERP, dashboards & automation.
- Communication skills with the ability to build successful relationships and influence, negotiate, and achieve consensus at senior levels, including effective communication at all levels and those with varying levels of financial literacy.
- Possesses good Commercial and Business Mindset.
- Full fluency in spoken and written English and Arabic is a must.
